Heathrow is the UK's busiest airport and the gateway for most long-haul flights. Driving yourself means motorway traffic and expensive parking; with South Coast Chauffeur you are taken to your terminal and met again when you come home.
The journey from the south coast
From Chichester, Havant, Petersfield and Portsmouth the usual route is north on the A3 to the M25, while from further east it can be quicker via the M23 and M25. Depending on traffic, the drive from Chichester is often around an hour and a half or more. Serge plans the best route on the day and allows extra time at busy periods.
Timing advice
Long-haul flights often need a longer check-in window, and the M25 around Heathrow can slow suddenly. Pickup times are set with a sensible margin so you arrive at the terminal calm and on time rather than watching the clock in traffic.
Coming home
After a long flight the last thing you want is a coach or a long drive. Serge plans your collection around your arrival and meets you at the terminal. Flight delays happen, so if you would like him to monitor your flight, ask when you book and he can do this on request.
Space for luggage and rest
The BMW 7 Series has room for holiday suitcases and a quiet cabin, and many passengers sleep for much of the journey home. Business travellers can take calls or prepare in private. Other cars are available on request.
