Southampton is the UK's busiest cruise port, and a cruise usually means plenty of luggage. South Coast Chauffeur takes you from your door in Sussex or Hampshire to the terminal drop-off, so the holiday starts relaxed.
From your door to the dockside
From Chichester the route runs west on the A27 and M27, usually around an hour depending on traffic, and less from Portsmouth or Havant. Southampton has several cruise terminals in the Western and Eastern Docks, so let us know your ship and terminal when you book and Serge will take you to the right drop-off.
Timing your arrival
Cruise lines usually give each passenger a boarding window. Pickup times are planned around that window, with allowance for the M27 and for queues around the docks on busy sailing days, so you arrive within your slot without waiting around.
Luggage
Cruise holidays often mean formal wear and a large suitcase each. The BMW 7 Series has a generous boot; if you are travelling as a larger group or with a lot of luggage, tell us and other cars are available on request.
Coming home
Disembarkation can take time. Serge plans your return collection around the expected disembarkation time and agrees a meeting point with you, so you are not left waiting in a taxi queue.
